Mercedes AMG F1 - Interview

I had the exciting opportunity to interview for a Graphic Designer position at the Mercedes AMG F1 headquarters in Bracknell, back in 2013, reaching the final three candidates. As part of the interview process, I was tasked with creating an internal flyer. Mercedes provided a selection of images and basic copy, but the brief was largely open-ended, allowing for creativity.

I designed two flyer variants (the first being my preferred option), and I received positive feedback on both designs. Mercedes AMG F1 was pleased with the outcome and appreciated the quality of my work.

Although I didn’t secure the position, their detailed feedback was incredibly constructive. They highlighted the need for stronger scheduling and CRM skills, which I have since developed through the use of various time management tools. This experience has significantly enhanced my skill set, making me a more versatile and organized designer.
